Infrastructure Testing for Extreme Wind, Surge, and Wave Events Briefing

Florida International University will highlight the work of the National Hazards Engineering Research Initiative Network, its Wall of Wind (WOW) Experimental Facility (EF), and progress on the NSF-funded National Full-scale Testing Infrastructure for Community Hardening in Extreme Wind, Surge, and Wave Events (NICHE).

This is an initiative that brings together the strengths of 10 partners, including FIU, the University of Florida, Oregon State University, Stanford University, the University of Notre Dame, the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Colorado State University, University of Delaware, and Wayne State University. The principal industry partner is Aerolab.
