The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is hosting its next Engineering and Public Works Roadshow event at the Mobile International Airport. The airport is just the latest in a series of transformative infrastructure projects reshaping Mobile, which has developed into one of the nation’s critical multimodal hubs. The airport is relocating closer to the city to improve connectivity between residents, businesses leaders and visitors, strengthening the local economy and nearby communities.
The Engineering and Public Works Roadshow, which kicked off in 2022 at the Port of Long Beach, CA spotlighting the Long Beach International Gateway Bridge, has been crisscrossing the country showcasing examples of impactful engineering and public works projects. The Engineering and Public Works Roadshow is the first time the designers and public operators of America’s infrastructure have joined together to celebrate successful infrastructure investment across the nation.
