Welcome to Infrastructure Week 2025

Dear Colleagues and Partners,

As we kick off our 13th annual Infrastructure Week, I want to thank the organizations, companies, and advocates who are hosting in-person and virtual events nationwide. I also want to extend a special thank you to United for Infrastructure’s Steering Committee for their help with our signature event: Stronger Infrastructure, Stronger Nation: Innovate, Secure, Compete.

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) was a transformative step forward, addressing decades of underinvestment in our nation’s transportation, freight, and transit systems and benefiting all Americans. As we look ahead to 2026, we urge Congress to ensure that surface transportation reauthorization builds on the historic IIJA investments that are making our nation stronger, more economically competitive, and more secure.

This week, we will hear from federal, state, and local policymakers and industry leaders on the importance of continued infrastructure investment, and we will facilitate key dialogues around federal policy changes — including smarter regulation and permitting reform — that can accelerate project timelines and get shovels in the ground faster. Our hope is that the enthusiasm and energy of Infrastructure Week will carry on as we work together to advocate for renewed infrastructure funding.

With all of the great programming lined up for Infrastructure Week, we’ll be sending daily missives and updates to ensure you don’t miss a thing! Help us spread the word on social media by tagging @United4infra on X and United for Infrastructure on LinkedIn with #InfrastructureWeek.

We thank you all for joining us and express our sincere gratitude for your ongoing advocacy for infrastructure investment in our nation. Together, we will continue proving that infrastructure works for America!
