Save the Date for Infrastructure Week 2026

Conversations about the next surface transportation bill are heating up this summer as House Transportation & Infrastructure and Senate Environment & Public Works leadership pursue ambitious timelines to develop legislation in their respective committees. The Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) expires in September 2026, and UFI is closely monitoring the evolving legislative calendar for reauthorization. We are keeping our foot on the gas to push for robust, long-term federal infrastructure investment that keeps the nation moving forward – and looking ahead to Infrastructure Week 2026.

We are excited to announce that Infrastructure Week 2026 will take place from May 18-22, 2026, and UFI encourages infrastructure-focused organizations and advocates across the country to get involved. Learn how at UnitedforInfrastructure.org/infra-week-2026.

In the meantime, it is critically important that you make your voice heard. Call your federal representatives to talk about the essential role of federal funding in state and local infrastructure projects and highlight infrastructure projects that are improving safety, economic development, and quality of life in your community.

But don’t stop there! Talk to your constituents, neighbors, and others about how orange cones and construction represent jobs, increased safety, and a growing community.

For over a decade, United for Infrastructure (UFI) has championed federal infrastructure investment. UFI’s annual Infrastructure Week, held each May, has become the cornerstone of infrastructure advocacy – bringing together key government, private sector, and community stakeholders in Washington, D.C., and nationwide.

UFI highlights infrastructure-related events are happening across the country, both virtually and in person, all year.
