The Original Transit-Oriented City: Transit-Oriented Communities in Philly

  • Village of Industry & Art 320 South Broad Street Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19102 United States (map)

Planners and policymakers are turning to Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC) —vibrant, connected neighborhoods centered on high-quality transit — as a strategy for guiding Philadelphia’s next chapter of growth. Representatives from Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, SEPTA, and the Philadelphia City Planning Commission will join Design Advocacy Group for a discussion of how these organizations are leveraging the region’s transit network to create and sustain neighborhoods that prioritize people and make walking, biking, and transit convenient, attractive transportation choices.

RSVP.
