Beyond the Headlines: Deciphering the Midterm Elections for Infrastructure Investors

  • Macquarie Capital 660 5th Avenue New York, New York, 10103 United States (map)

As the U.S. heads into a pivotal midterm election cycle, understanding where the priorities lie within private investment has never been more important. Hosted at Macquarie’s New York offices on Fifth Avenue, GIIA’s event will be an opportunity for senior investor members and stakeholders to connect as we assess the policy and political landscape for investors in the U.S. at federal and state levels.

Our first panel discussion will be moderated by David Agnew, Managing Director at Macquarie Group, with speakers Gian-Caro Peressutti, Executive Director, Public Affairs at IFM Investors; D.J. Gribbin, Madrus Founder, Hudson Bay Capital Management; and former Governor Larry Hogan exploring what the midterm results will mean for investor strategies in 2027 and beyond.

A second discussion will feature David Quam, US Advisor, GIIA, and Craig Sundstrom, Senior Principal, Energy and sustanability Policy at Amazon Web Services (AWS), as they present a comprehensive review of data centre policy throughout the U.S.

The event is for GIIA members only. Register.
