The American Public Works Association (APWA) invites you to celebrate National Public Works Week 2026, May 17-23.

Capitol Hill activities will include a policy breakfast briefing on federal transportation priorities and APWA’s annual awards reception for Top 10 and Projects of the Year Award winners. Capping off the week in sweet fashion: Donuts and Trucks.

The event is at the corner of 3rd St. and Maryland Ave., SW, down from the U.S. Botanical Garden. Keep an eye out for the Public Works trucks.
